The Goyeneche house in the neoclassic style, as many of other manorial houses of those times, possesses a sober façade note-worthy for the size of the ecclesiastical coat-of-arms of Arequipa's bishop Jose Sebastian Goyeneche (1784-1872). It contains a large patio with large, attractive windows, a seventeenth-century sculpture of Ecce Homo linked to the Andalusian school of that century, and a good collection of oil paintings in the Cusco style. Nowadays it hosts the Banco Central de Reserva branch offices in Arequipa. It is a beautiful place to see during your walks through the city.
