You will visit the modern part and the colonial part of the city of Lima, “The City of Kings”, starting with the district of San Isidro, where you will pass by a pre-Inca construction that is 1200 years old, the Huaca Huallamarca. Then, you will go to the Historic Center, to visit the Main Square. Later on, the Convent of Santo Domingo, declared cultural heritage of humanity. Finally, return to Miraflores and sightseeing tour to another pre-Inca pyramid-shaped building.
Flight to Cusco city. Upon arrival, transfer to the selected hotel.
Afternoon City Tour:
The tour starts at the temple of Koricancha, an ancient Inca palace and main worship center of the Sun God, then the Main Square. You will then continue to the colonial church of San Cristóbal to enjoy a spectacular view of the city. Afterwards visit the fortress of Sacsayhuaman, an Inca building known for its massive walls of hewn stone, Finally you will visit the important archaeological complexes of Qenko and Puca Pucara.
Today’s first destination is Chinchero, a quaint little town that houses an important Inca archaeological center. The you will visit "Urpi" a famous textile center where the townsfolk have preserved the traditional Andean spinning and weaving techniques. Lunch will be served in a local restaurant. Afterwards, you will get to Ollantaytambo, one of the most monumental architectural complexes of the ancient Inca Empire, then, continue to the adjacent town of Ollantaytambo, “the unique living Inca town.
Upon your arrival you will be transported by bus to Machu Picchu citadel, one of the most renowned examples of the Inca’s architecture, surrounded by an amazing landscape of lush forest.
Lost in history, Machu Picchu was not discovered until 1911 by the American explorer Hiram Bingham, but was built in the middle of XV century. The name of the citadel comes from the Quechua language that means “Old Mountain” and apparently was the principal Inca’s Sanctuary.
After a guided visit of the ruins, you will have a lunch at a local restaurant.
Visit one older areas of Rio called Cosme Velho, from where you take the train to the Corcovado Mountain with the gigantic statue of Christ the Redeemer (2.300ft above sea level). A modern swiss-made cogwheel rail climbs the mountain from its base at 15meters almost to the summit at 710 meters.

This tour begins with a panoramic city view through downtown Rio, passing by the Sambodrome, the Metropolitan Cathedral. Get to know the traditional Cinelândia square and the historical buildings, the Municipal Theater, the National Library and the National Museum of Fine Arts. By taking the Aterro do Flamengo, you will get to Urca district, where one of the largest symbols of the city is located: the Sugar Loaf. This visit is made by cable car in two steps. The first cable car takes you to Urca Hill which is 215 meters high, and from where you can have a beautiful view of the Guanabara Bay and its islands, the Rio-Niterói Bridge and Corcovado Hill.
